These massive treants are rarely seen outside of the Feywild. Also called “canopy knives” for the way their huge figures cut through the forest boughs, bluewood treants are otherwise stereotypical of their kind—guardians of nature, enemies of loggers, slow and contemplative, etc. When summoned as guardians, bluewood treants place themselves strategically around the forest. With their powerful voices, they are powerful sentries who can warn an entire forest when unwelcome visitors are afoot.
